When you join and create your Concord identity, you may give us (not limited to):

Self-expression: Bio, zodiac sign, pets, hobbies, height
Lifestyle data: Communication style, love language, drinking/smoking habits, dietary needs, sleep preferences, future family plans
Media uploads: Profile pictures, videos, banners, audio clips

🌍 Location (Only If You Allow It)

To help you find people nearby or in your dream city (via Travel Mode), we may collect:

Live GPS coordinates
Location pings when you're moving (while active)
Temporary spoofed locations when you’re using Travel Mode

You can pause or stop location tracking any time in your privacy settings.

💬 Conversations & Calls

To support meaningful chats and keep them secure:

Texts, photos, videos, voice notes, and video call data are stored with care
Message metadata (timestamps, delivery, read status)
Encryption details to protect your privacy

📊 Usage + Analytics

To make Concord smoother and smarter, we collect:

Interaction data, feature usage, engagement scores
Device type, OS version, app version
Connection quality and performance stats
Bug/error logs to troubleshoot issues

With other users (only what you already shared to them)
With trusted service providers (to help run the app features smoothly)

5. Where + How Your Data Lives

We treat your data like it’s precious. Because it is.

Storage & Security:

All sensitive data is encrypted
Hosted on secure Azure infrastructure
Monitored constantly for unusual activity
Access is restricted and audited regularly

Storage durations:

As long as your account is active, and up to 90 days thereafter. Your data is privatised within those 90 days and fully deleted thereafter.

View or edit your info
Delete your account
Control who sees you and who can message you
Change your discovery and location settings
Export your data (where supported)
Report, block, and filter interactions
Manage content preferences

7. Global Privacy Laws

GDPR (Europe)

If you're in the EEA, you have:

Right to access, update, or delete your data
Right to restrict or object to data use
Right to portability and to file complaints
Right to withdraw consent anytime

If you’re in California:

Right to request deletion
Right to opt out of data sales (we don’t sell data anyway)
Right to fair treatment regardless of your privacy choices

8. International Transfers

Your data may travel (digitally), but always with protections in place.
We use secure mechanisms to ensure compliance across borders.

9. Age Rating

Concord is strictly 16+, and some features are strictly 18+. Some features will be limited until you're 18.
We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 and we have implemented preventative measures. If we learn otherwise, we delete it and take other action where necessary.
